The tiny tiny writing on the back informs us this was "Drawn by W Boxall" & "Engraved by H Robinson"
William Boxall (1800 - 1879). Predominantly a portrait painter, he entered the Royal Academy schools in 1819, and was elected Associate Member of the Royal Academy in 1852 and Royal Academician in 1863
John Henry Robinson (1796 - 1871) was an engraver from Bolton who started out as a book-illustrator. He engraved portraits and prints after popular contemporary painters. He was elected Associate Member of the Royal Academy in 1856.
