These samplers were stitched on perforated (punched) card following a pre-printed pattern
This one features the Infant Jesus of Prague with a religious motto in French that translates as
"Miraculous image of the Infant Jesus of Prague"
"The more you honour me, the more I will bless you" - the assurance of the Infant Jesus to Devotees
The highlight words are picked out in metal thread and this features exquisite metal work flowers below the image.
Framed in a light oak frame, the glass has been removed to better view the work
Condition: water mark to the left
You rarely come across these and this is a particularly fine example from my own personal collection
