Pair of framed prints of Napoleon III and his wife Empress Eugenie. Lovely handwritten details to the reverse
Mounted in gilt tin surrounds set in gilt wood & gesso frames, these are attributed to George Baxter, credited with the invention of commercially viable colour printing. There were may copies of Baxter's work and I am unsure if these are originals. They are priced as copies and being sold as a pair
Overall framed size: 24cm x 21cm
